If you haven't started yet and the board exams are just 3 months away, don't panic. You can still score above 90% if you stop wasting time and start studying with a laser focus on high-weightage topics.
In your first month, forget the easy chapters. Focus on the ones that carry the most marks. For Maths, that's Algebra (20 marks) and Geometry (15 marks). For Science, it's Chemical Substances and the World of Living (50 marks total).
By month 2, you should have finished the core theory. Now, you must solve Previous Year Question Papers (PYQs). This website has them from 2009 to 2026. Pick the last 5 years and solve them chapter by chapter.
Pair this with NCERT Exemplar questions for Science and Maths. CBSE often repeats logic from these questions.
The final month is for testing. You must sit for full-length 3-hour mock papers in the same time slot as the real board exam (10:30 AM to 1:30 PM). This trains your brain to be alert at that specific time.
If you're running out of time, look at our Weightage Chart. Focus on the units that give you 15-20 marks first. A weak 5-mark chapter won't kill your 90%, but a weak 20-mark unit will.
